The Shorty Captain Shorts are just what this moniker implies: nautical navy blue combined with short and sweet silhouette. The collared white shirt is a three-button pullover, and has perfectly roll-able sleeves. Light enough to wear on the hottest days but structured enough to be appropriate beyond the beach, this baby is a for sure summer staple. Layer the luxe blazer over it and you’re set when the sun goes down and the day gets cooler.

TOMS shoes makes wedge heels? Peep toe, too?

I want them.

I NEED them.

After living in Boston, where cobblestone sidewalks ravaged every stiletto heel I dared wear out, I’ve always had an eye out for wedges. In fact my collection at home is of an absurd proportion- but I definitely have room for one more. In true TOMS fashion these new wedges are sturdy; heavy canvas with a triangle of stretchy elastic above the toe and woven twine covers the heel. Casual enough to wear with shorts, but flattering and feminine makes them sundress-worthy.

My latest obsession? A new polka-dotted number from Tucker. The V-neck and V-back dress is super saucy and fits like a glove. Not a too-tight, sexy leather glove but more like a perfectly tailored item that flatters from every angle. The fitted shape and front slit give a little sex appeal, but it’s kept from falling over the too-seductive edge by cute little flutter sleeves. To top it all off the Short Sleeve Disco Dress feels as good as it looks. Soft, light, and with just the tiniest bit of give in the silk. I would wear this to a cocktail-attire garden party but still be comfortable throwing it on any other day of the summer. Dress it up or dress it down, this frock is the ultimate.

But besides my personal fave, we’ve also got other Tucker gems just in. A blouse and skirt come in black silk/lycra blend with white silhouetted butterflies. There’s also a loose, flowy tunic-style dress with a tie waist. Soft pink and warm orange-y coral tones makes this a hard piece to say “no” to.
